It is finally Spring and this has definitely been a long overdue update. Sometimes life just gets so fast and busy that you have to make yourself slow down to take a deep breath.
I was so happy to have been able to collaborate with Nocturnalz Photography (http://www.nocturnalz.com) and Hoa Khôi Liên Trường Bắc Cali-Miss Vietnam of Northern California Intercollegiate (http://missvietnamnorcal.com/blog/) for this photoshoot! Moses and Jodie from Nocturnalz were great to work with and were so accommodating with everything! They were a great bunch and working with the candidates for the 2012 pageant was definitely a treat. Every girl worked the camera well and it was so fun being able to work with GLITTER! It was definitely a feat trying to get the glitter to stay in one place, but once it was on the eyelids, it was beautiful. The shine and glimmer really brought attention to the eyes and honestly, I couldn’t help but stare and say wow. The trick with glitter is to be patient and layer it on slowly. It’s okay if things get everywhere, just clean it afterwards. =) If you are wondering, silver glitter did work the best.
